About ADAC.

Annan and District Athletic Club was formed in February 1976, originally as Annan Harriers, as a hill and road running club. In 1977 a section for track and field was created.

The club is open to anyone, but focuses, in particular on athletes living within the Upper , Mid and Lower Annandale and Eskdale Districts within the region of Dumfries and Galloway.

The aims of the club is to foster, encourage, develop and coach athletes from the age of 9 years upwards in Track & Field and Cross Country, and with Seniors having the additional specialisms of Road Running and Hill/Fell Running. In addition to taking part in Club and national events members also have there own in-club, seasonal competitions for club championships in the various disciplines
